Alder vets are proud to help raise awareness and funds for Support Dogs. Thanks to your generosity and fundraising by the team here we donate every year to this amazing charity.
Support Dogs is a UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and children with autism by training dogs to act as efficient and safe assistants.
The dogs are trained to assist and support their owners with their specific disability.
Each dog is taught tasks tailored to his owner’s needs, enabling the disabled person to lead a fuller and more independent life.
If you have, or know of a puppy or young dog which you think might be suitable for the training programme, please contact a member of the Dog Supply team on 0114 261 7800 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Millbrook Animal Centre is an RSPCA re-homing centre in Chobham, Surrey. Millbrook find new homes for hundreds of unwanted dogs, cats and other animals each year.
It costs half a million pounds to run the centre every year. Millbrook look after, nurse back to health and train hundreds of animals every year ready for new homes. To help with the task we here at Alder Vets treat some of those animals needing veterinary care.
If you are thinking of getting a new pet why not think of adopting? Take a look at some of the beautiful animals waiting for a good home.
